Amigurumi Bear Rattle
A little while ago I made a cute bunny rattle using a free pattern from Amour Fou. Now I have a nice bear version to match!
This was supposed to be a white bear, but I ran out of yarn half way through the head, so it ended up with some white pants instead.
For yarn, I used Peter Pan Baby Merino DK (affiliate link) in white, Rowan Felted Tweed (affiliate link) in Scree blue, and Jenny Watson Pure Merino DK in brown. With a 2.75 mm (C) crochet hook, my bear ended up being 15 cm (6 in) tall, excluding the ears.
The body and head are made using a free bunny rattle pattern from Amour Fou Crochet.
Bear ear pattern:
Abbreviations (US crochet terms):

Using brown yarn, start with an adjustable ring.
R1: 6 sc in a ring.
R2: 2 sc in each st around (12 sc)
R3-4: Sc in each st around, for 2 rounds. (12 sc per round)
Cut yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing, and finish off. Sew the ears to the top of the head.
