Crochet Butterfly Doll Amigurumi
This is a little doll I crocheted for my toddler's second birthday earlier this year.
The pattern is Crochet Confetti Shop's Crochet Butterflies Mini Dolls pattern. It's full of cute little details, like the wings and feelers and poseable arms. It even has tiny butt cheeks. You can't see them behind the wings, but I'm happy just knowing they exist.
For yarn I used DROPS Baby Alpaca Silk by Garnstudio and a 2.25 mm (B) crochet hook. My doll turned out to be about 8 cm (3.2 in) tall.
I made a matching cacoon by sewing a button onto an existing a crocheted leaf coaster. My daughter hasn't played with this one much at all, so I'll wait until she's more interested in dolls before making any more!
